While the US military the world's most advanced and powerful fighting force is gaining the upper hand over Iran, Iran's counterattacks are inflicting heavy damage upon the United States and the nations of the Middle East.

:Iran attacked Saudi Arabia's Prince Sultan Air Base, located in the Al-Kharj region, with six ballistic missiles and 29 kamikaze drones.

: An AWACS aircraft stationed at Prince Sultan Air Base which the U.S. Air Force uses for surveillance fell victim to Iranian ballistic missile and kamikaze drone attacks; valued at $700 million, the aircraft was struck during the assault and completely destroyed.This represents the greatest technical and economic loss for America in this war

3 Huge expenditure on military weapons in US Iran war

:Iran is continuously attacking U.S. bases using Kamikaze and Shahed drones, which cost only a few thousand dollars; to shoot down these Iranian drones, the U.S. is firing Patriot and THAAD missiles, a single unit of which costs between $2 million and $4 million.

These major attacks by Iran have put the U.S. Air Force on the back foot. The drone strikes carried out at Prince Sultan Air Base have proven that inexpensive drones—costing merely a few thousand dollars—can evade highly expensive and advanced air defense systems to strike their targets.
