1 Is that war in Iran about to end?

• Trump says our objective has been achieved; we wanted to ensure that Iran would never be able to become a nuclear power. Trump says that we do not want to make any nuclear deal with Iran.

• Trump has claimed that, following a massive bombardment by the U.S. Air Force on Iran's nuclear infrastructure, sites such as Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow have been completely destroyed.

2 Trump's Threat: We will push Iran back to the Stone Age.

• On Truth Social and during a White House briefing, President Trump stated that if Iran does not immediately free and clear the oil supply route through the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. will send them back to the Stone Age.

3 Will there be a ceasefire between the US and Iran?

• Trump and the Iranian leaders are saying completely different things.

• During a briefing underway at the White House, Trump clarified that Iran's new president has stated, "We wish to call a ceasefire." He believes that Iran is no longer in a position to continue fighting, nor do they wish to endure any further losses.

4 Iran's Denial

• In an interview with Al Jazeera, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran has not requested a ceasefire, nor are any talks currently underway with the USA. He further asserted that Iran is undeterred by anyone's deadlines or threats. Abbas Araghchi described President Trump's claims as baseless and false.

5 President Trump's Conditions

• Trump stated that there will be no ceasefire until the Strait of Hormuz is fully open, free, clear, and completely secure for maritime vessels.

• Issuing a threat, Trump declared that as long as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, "we will continue to devastate Iran—or, as some people put it, send them back to the Stone Age."
